There is no escape from the world, but there is art and there are stories to help understand what's going on.  And by understand I mean to open one's  heart as well as one's intellect, and warm to the life and possibilities that are here. 

My writing seeks to engage the world we live in, and perhaps even approach the truth, never allowing the words to deaden the experience of life on earth.  This is contradictory to much of the language of our time, in that contemporary words want to solidify things - to bring expression into the midday light so experience casts no wayward shadow and can be dissected to conclusions.  I wish to keep things fluid and see all people and relationships in the light of becoming.
